Wacky fancy dresser and music icon Lady Gaga had a near disastrous experience on a long haul flight from the UK to America due to developing the early stages of DVT.

Gaga boarded a long haul flight from Heathrow to the USA recently while wearing black and yellow tape, with giant blue shoes designed by the late Alexander McQueen.

Her costume was so restricting on her movement that cabin crew began to panic when Lady Gaga’s legs began to swell up due to the onset of the early stages of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), thesun.co.uk reported.

She recently insisted that she "would rather die" than have her fans see her without a pair of high heels, but in this case she had no option other than to change due to being persuaded she had to by the cabin crew, unless she wanted to suffer long-term damage, or even worse still, death.

‘She was particularly miffed about ditching her heels. She was wearing them in memory of her friend, Alexander,’ said a source.

It is reported that the pop diva has vowed to stop wearing the weird clothes from now on. Really? Is Keira Knightley the new Lady Gaga, since her recent shock and awe fancy dress in London?
